ROCHESTER,
N.Y. (February 21, 2010) – Kerry Gleason is at it again.
Gleason
Public Relations, with offices in Rochester, N.Y., and Denver, out-pitched
larger agencies for the national public relations launch of Fein Energy
Crystals, a new product in the $7.9-billion energy beverage category,
announced Kerry Gleason, president.
Fein Innovations,
LLC, headquartered in Tampa, Fla., chose Gleason PR after a formal selection
process, citing the agency's emphasis on deliverable strategies, experience
and creativity.
“Fein shares lots of common ground with Gleason PR, in terms of
energy, innovation, universal compatibility and our ability to deliver
on promised benefits,” Mr. Gleason said. “Our experience in
the food and beverage sector and our creative launch approach are a perfect
fit for a fun, exciting product such as Fein Energy Crystals. We anticipate

Product details will be shared when the product is introduced in early
March.
Throughout his career, Gleason has established himself as a product launch
specialist, personally supervising and participating in several campaigns
that are now case histories in M.B.A.-level marketing courses. His credits
include Wendy's Hot Stuffed Potato introduction; Johnson & Johnson's
disposable contact lens, Acuvue; General Electric's Halogen auto lights
and peripheral involvement in other launches for Coca-Cola, AT&T,
Eastman Kodak Company, Bausch & Lomb and Nutrasweet (now Equal). He
was also an integral part of the team that brought Wendy's “Where's
the Beef?” campaign, voted most memorable in history by TV Guide,
to the world.
Gleason PR announced it has also been named agency of record for media

Gleason PR, founded 16 years ago in Rochester, N.Y., recently opened an
office in Colorado near Denver, where it will implement communication
strategies for green industry and products that improve environmental

Mr. Gleason, 49, has earned major awards as a journalist, a public relations
professional, a marketing executive and a screenwriter . Graduated by
St. Bonaventure University, his passions include gourmet food, sports,
and comedy writing. His serious screenplay,
“North Star: The Life of Frederick Douglass,” won the 2009
Buffalo Niagara Film Festival for Best Screenplay. His current writing
project is a novel about spiritual warfare in present-day America.
