ABSORBTECH PITCHES EPA FOR
TOXIC FLOODWATER CLEANUP
IN CENTRAL STATES

ROCHESTER, NY (June 25, 2008) -- AbsorbTech, distributor for OilMaster 7x, a natural absorbent product, has requested that the Environmental Protection Agency and other government agencies review OilMaster as a possible clean-up agent for the toxic brew resulting from recent floods in Iowa and other central U.S. States.

AbsorbTech, LLC, is based in Webster , N.Y. Company spokesperson Robert Jamieson estimates the cost of using OilMaster 7x as minimal compared to the monetary expense and public safety risk if the water is untreated.

“OilMaster 7x can be applied on the surface, or in combination with water booms, which contain the chemical spill,” Mr. Jamieson explained. “The OilMaster compound is 100 percent natural, and it traps hazardous chemicals in a solid form that is easier for disposal. The product could be skimmed, or you could just leave it to wash to shore. “

Other facts about OilMaster 7x:

•  OilMaster7X's superior absorbency saves money and time on each oil cleanup.

•  OilMaster7x also works well on other liquids such as anti-freeze/coolant, gasoline / diesel fuel, kerosene, paint, etc.

•  OilMaster7X was designed for immediate and easy clean up.

•  OilMaster7x is manufactured locally from agricultural wastes. It is a renewable resource and a GREEN product.

•  OilMaster7X does not contain silicates like many clay products do. These silicates can cause serious health problems.

•  OilMaster7X's light weight makes handling easy.

•  OilMaster7X is completely biodegradable. Region 8 DEC Spill Group likes the GREEN nature of OilMaster and is pleased with its performance characteristics.

OilMaster 7x is manufactured by Terrenew, Inc., and was developed by scientists at Cornell University. For more information, contact Mr. Jamieson at (585) 729-2965.
